Minister Pullicino meets Civil Protection volunteers from Savona Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
On Wednesday, 10th February 2010, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary from the birth of Mgr Azzopardi, founder of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, the Hon. Dr George Pullicino, Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs together with Mr Patrick Murgo Acting Director of the Civil Protection Unit and Mrs Murgo attended the planting of hundred olive trees at the garden of Id-Dar.
This activity was possible thanks to thirty two volunteers from the Civil Protection of Savona who came purposely from Italy to plant these trees and embelish the surroundings.
