Insertion of Dar tal-Providenza Diary 2022

Every year, Dar tal-Providenza prints a diary to be distributed to all households in Malta and Gozo. To have this done, it is not only needed to print the diary but also to have it inserted in an envelope before distribution. At the moment, an appreciable number of volunteers are helping in the insertion process, amongst them volunteers from the parishes of Attard, St. Joseph the Worker in Birkirkara and Mellieħa. A group of Gozitan volunteers is also helping in this initiative. As in every year, the diary is distributed for free in every household by MaltaPost plc.

Those who might wish to give a helping hand in the insertion of the diary are welcome to send an email on info@dartalprovidenza.org or call on 21462844.

Dar tal-Providenza welcomes the nomination of the new Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations.

Dar tal-Providenza gladly welcomes the nomination of Mr Jesmond Saliba as the new Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations. We believe that as a person who has worked in and has this sector at heart, Mr Saliba, even though now in a regulatory role, can better understand the contribution that voluntary organisations gave and are giving to this country, as well as their limitations and difficulties.
Whilst we thank Mr Saliba for his contribution as member of the Home’s Board during these last ten years, we wish him well in his arduous task in favour of more transparent and accountable Voluntary Organisations, but at the same time we feel that the Commissioner is there to support them constantly along the way.
