A new website for Id-Dar tal-Providenza was launched by Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P, together with Mr Alfred Borg, a resident of the Homes. Mgr Cremona praised this initaitive and said that this is another example of how information and communication technologies can strengthen human solidarity and serve the common good in powerful and innovative ways.
Also present for the launch that took place at the Archbishop’s Curia were Fr Martin Micallef, Director of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Ms Nadine Camilleri Cassano, Financial Controller and Mr Stephen Barbara web designer and administrator of the new website.
Mr Barbara explained that the new website is divided into different sections, each section highlighting various aspects on the Home including its history, services provided, events, ways to support its work and also some multimedia content. All the information is presented in both Maltese and English. An Events section provides a calendar of fundraising activities while the multimedia section provides 360° panoramic views of the various locations within the Siġġiewi Homes.
Fr Martin Micallef said that this newly designed website will surely helpanyone who would like to learn more about Id-Dar tal-Providenza, its services and how to support its cause.
